    FIRST- Left Handed!!!!

Lets start with left handed, If you are LH you know what I mean. Not much comes in LH! This is one of several Wild hare items I have purchased. When I bought my vest, Wild Hare contacted me ahead of shipping to be sure I wanted LH. This time I emailed them to verify the size. They responded immediately. Again excellent customer service.
On to the Coat. Warm, wind resistant, large pockets. There are 4 pockets. For shooting sporting clays there are two pockets that will easily hold 50 shells each. The other two will handle a box of chokes and the hand warmers. Rib knit collar and cuffs! Just what I was looking for! The rib neck collar eliminates the issue with another type of collar bunching up when you mount the gun. The cuffs accomplish two things. First is a seal over the gloves and second is they solve the problem with sleeve length, if you're short you know what I mean.
    Very happy I bought it

This coat is the best shooting coat I've purchased. Warm, lite and made for shooting in. No shoulder binding on the swing when your after the hard rights and lefts in trap. Pockets are plenty big for 50 fired 12 gauge hulls. Well worth the price!

    • Plenty of pocket space
    • Interference free gun mount
    Cons:
    • Hand warmer pockets awkward
I bought this coat two weeks ago to replace the 30 year old Starter jacket I have been wearing. Finally got a chance to test drive it this past weekend. The winter here in upstate NY has been very un-winter like by our standards. Sunday we saw some blustery winds, temps around freezing with light snow. This jacket was everything I had hoped for. Light weight, comfortable and warm. It is wind proof and warm without being bulky. The fit is perfect with plenty of freedom of movement. The collar does not interfere with gun mount. The exterior pockets hold everything you need for a round of skeet. At $240 it sounds pricey, but just like work boots and hunting knives, you get what you pay for. The only point that wasn't perfect was the lack of convenient hand warmer pockets. I don't wear gloves for shooting and found the side pocket a bit awkward. A very minor issue as I can still reach my pants pocket! Highly recommend this jacket!
